It has been requested (thanks, postman!!!) that I might set up a place for you to share some of the excitement going on at school these days. Many of you have been involved in special trips, events, programs, camps, etc. etc.
So.....what's up everyone??? We'd love to hear your 'tales of adventure'........

All the difference ....

The Road Not Taken

Two Roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry that I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Although I would like to hear both positive and negative 'stories', I will remind you to please exercise diplomacy here - no teachers' names nor any comment that could be interpreted as hurtful should be included. Message from Rwanda

On my summer reading list is a new book by Barbara Coloroso entitled "Just because it's not wrong doesn't make it right: from toddlers to teens, teaching kids to think and act ethically". I was flipping through it yesterday and was drawn to a short story right at the beginning of the book. It included a quote by Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, which stood out to me after having recently seen (and loved!) the movie Hotel Rwanda. The quote struck me also because of the 'nature/nurture' discussion initiated in the blog last week. I wonder what you think of it .....
